Corn Salad "Verte de Cambrai" (Valerianella Locusta)
Corn Salad sometimes known as Lettuce Lamb, corn lettuce has long spoon-shaped dark leaves and a distinctive, tangy flavour.
It is used raw in salads as well as steamed and served as a vegetable. The unusual name reputedly comes from the lettuce's resemblance to the size and shape of a lamb's tongue.
It is a very reliable hardy variety with rosettes of tender, melt in the mouth, deep green leaves.
This not a normal lettuce, it is difference, much more delicious and can be harvested all year round.
